The Mediterranean Basin has been the cradle of world civilisation since the first settlements in Jericho in 9000BC. As empires expanded from east to west and north to south, magnificent civilisations advanced all around the Basin, from Mesopotamia to Egypt, Carthage to Rome, Byzantium to the Ottoman Empire. These vast kingdoms formed the basis for continuous economic development and cultural influence which provide remarkable experiences for travellers today.
We have curated an incredible journey combining the ancient cities of Rome, Cairo, Jerusalem and Athens, for travellers to immerse themselves in cultural extravagance.
Ancient Civilisations by Private Jet
Starting in Rome we discover the monuments of Europe’s significant conquerors from the Roman Empire. Travelling on to Cairo to take in the awe-inspiring Pyramids of the Egyptian years of dominance, before appreciating the significance of many religious traditions when visiting Jerusalem. The trip is rounded off with a visit to the capital of Greece, Athens, home to the Acropolis.

The seat of the Roman Empire is the starting point of our journey (private jet will commence and return to London) and we will explore the incredible Roman heritage including the Colosseum, the Pantheon and the Forum.

Cairo | 2 nights
The Pyramids are the epitome of man-made structures that have managed to stand the test of time. A visit here will be awe inspiring and exploring the soon to be opened new Egyptian Museum will highlight the age of the Pharaoh’s in stunning detail.
Jerusalem | 2 nights
There are not many destinations offering more religious significance than Jerusalem. Our exploration will include a walk through the Old Town, a visit to the Western Wall as well as Temple Mount.

Athens | 2 nights
The final stop on our journey through ancient Mediterranean history culminates with a visit to the Acropolis in Athens. During our final evening together, there will be time to reminisce and share memories and experiences.
The above is merely a suggestion and many variations are of course possible with regards to destinations as well as duration. An itinerary would be based on 5 and 4 star hotels or best available in some places. All travel is by private jet.
